project site

my project location is the BBC Pub in Falmouth MA. i chose this site because i have been going there my whole life and i love going there whenever i go home from college. as a youth my grandfather used to take me there all the time and we would sit in the rustic old fashioned pub with the dark wood walls and enjoy a brew. i spent many of my summer days there hanging out and watching all the people and listening to their crazy stories. im drawn to this place and will be going back to it as long as it is there.

i dont have many questions i know just about everything there is to know about this place, from who owns it to all the regulars that go there on a day to day basis. but i could try and find out how far people travle to come there, see if they are locals or if they come from surrounding towns, or to see if they are life long patrons. who knows what i will discover, im going into this with an open mind and im eager to write about my findings.

I like reading the Iresearcher essay because of its interesting subject and ease to read. This essay was not written simply as a research paper, but was written with a story. I was able to connect to the author with the fact that it was a family oriented proposal. It helped give me ideas on how to go about researching my upcoming ethnography.
